Do you KNOW who you are?

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY AND…THE BEAUTIFUL?

Do you have a great relationship with yourself…or are you constantly looking to another for fulfillment? Know that YOU CANNOT SHARE WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE and YOU CANNOT GIVE WHAT YOU DON’T OWN. I have stated before that the most valuable relationship you will ever have (other than with GOD) is with yourself.

Marianne Williamson (my fave!) states that RELATIONSHIPS ARE FOR US TO LEARN ABOUT OURSELVES…and then move on. (what a unique idea!)  Not to mention the big ‘J’ who said TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE.

Why do we spend so much time trying to figure out others and learn what makes them tick while looking to them for approval and acknowledgment? Ugh! DON’T CONFUSE SOMEONE’S OPINION FOR THE TRUTH. Maybe it appears that it is (or we think it is) easier, less painful, to KNOW somebody else and what’s WRONG/RIGHT with them, rather than directing all of this valuable time, energy, thought and emotions to KNOW ourselves and what’s WRONG/RIGHT with US and in the process discover our MAGNIFICENCE!

So…LOVE (and LIKE)…ENJOY…KNOW and CELEBRATE who you are. The GOOD…share. The BAD…work on it, The UGLY…to be discussed or fixed. The BEAUTIFUL…thank God and gloat! and while you’re at it SMILE and be sure to tell your face!. You will feel and look so wonderful that THEY will be taking numbers knowing that it is a privilege, a joy, and a blessing, to be in your presence. BRAVO!

SO THERE!

Love and Blessings,

Walter

Must read: A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. The chapter on relationships is BRILLIANT!
